Boxing

Primary Schools

**Registration for this programme is currently closed**

Cork Sports Partnership and the Irish Athletic Boxing Association have teamed up to bring Start Box to Primary Schools in Cork.

The aim of the programme is to provide 4th, 5th & 6th class primary school children with the opportunity to participate in a fun based, non-contact, inclusive introductory boxing programme.

The programme specifically targets those with little or no experience with a taste of boxing in a supportive and safe environment with a qualified Irish Athletic Boxing Association Regional Community Development Officer.

In return for full commitment to the programme, each school will receive a 4-week programme of boxing sessions (60 minute per class)

This programme is heavily subsidised by Cork Sports Partnership & the Irish Athletic Boxing Association.
