Cork Coaching Forum
The Cork Coaching Forum aims to provide coaches/volunteers and leaders of underage sporting activities in Cork access to relevant, up to date and appropriate material, training and information.
Coaching Ireland, who has the lead role in developing coaching in the country, have come on board as a partner with production of the modules to be delivered to the coaches.
Phase one of the programme is due to be rolled out this coming November, where coaches can attend the first module in one of four areas throughout the county. The first module entitled “An introduction to Coaching Children” will focus on the Fundamental skills and physical literacy which is key to the development of children in sport.
