Cork Walking Month
The Cork Walking Month will take place from Thursday 1st - Friday 30th of September 2011. There are a variety of walks to suit all so come out and join us!
About the Cork Walking Month
The Cork Walking Month was developed by the Cork Sports Partnership in conjunction with the Irish Sports Council, the Cork Walking Forum's, the HSE South, with support from the Mardyke Arena, Mountaineering Ireland, National Trails Office and Maher Sports.
The Cork Walking Month 2011 takes place from Thursday 1st - Friday 30th of September 2011. The initiative aims to provide additional opportunities for people of all ages and abilities throughout Cork to get out and physically active through walking during September. There are a variety of different walks and events to suit all fitness levels, so come out and join us and get walking.

Best Photo of Cork Walking Month 2011 Award:

A draw will take place at the end of the Cork Walking Month for the best photo that captures the theme of participation best. These photo's will be used by the Cork Sports Partnership to promote walking in future initiatives.The prize will be a voucher for Maher Sports, so get your cameras out and get your photo's in.
