Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:
Sports Inclusion Disability Officer – 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Monaghan Sports Partnership and Cavan Sports Partnership, supported by the Irish Sports Council and partner agencies have secured funding for the recruitment of a Sports Inclusion Disability Officer (SIDO). The Sports Partnerships will jointly manage the work of the SIDO and the officer will have the advantage of benefiting form an established sports development network and administration structure. The work programme of the SIDO will be guided by the LSPs strategic plans and the national objectives for this programme.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate proven experience of sports development and Disability Sport/Adapted Physical Activity. Excellent networking, leadership, planning, organisational, IT and communication skills will also be a prerequisite for this post. This post is offered on a 1 Year fixed term basis and the successful candidate will operate across the Counties of Monaghan and Cavan.
The annual salary for this post is €40,200
