Sports Inclusion Development Officer –
1 year Temporary Contract
Meath Local Sports Partnership supported by the Irish Sports Council, have secured funding from Pobal under the Dormant Accounts Fund for the recruitment of Sports Inclusion Development Officers (SIDO).
The position of SIDO is to support the strategic development and implementation of disability sport within MLSP and to contribute towards the national aims of the SIDO’s under the Dormant Account Scheme. The main function of this position is to increase the participation of people with disabilities in sport/physical activity and to ensure that local resources are used to best effect to facilitate inclusion.
The successful candidates will be required to demonstrate proven experience of Disability Sports Development/Adapted Physical Activity. Excellent networking, leadership, planning, organisational, IT and communication skills will also be a prerequisite for this post.

The salary for this post will be based on the equivalent Local Authority Grade 4.
