Mallow 10km Family Fun Challenge

The Mallow 10Km Family Fun Challenge is being held at the Mallow GAA Sports Complex on Sunday 25th of April at 10 a.m.

The cycle is organised as a part of the Racing Home for Easter Festival being held in Mallow over the Easter weekend.

The cycle itself is being coordinated by the Cork Sports Partnership with the assistance of Irish Sports Council, Mallow GAA Sports Complex, An Garda Siochana, Cork County Council, Red Cross and local community groups.

Route Information:

This route is all about family participation and fun. The cyclists will start at 10 am from the Mallow GAA Sports Complex in Carrigoon and head into Mallow town via the N72 road from Fermoy. The route enters Mallow at the Clock Tower roundabout and loops around the town before finishing back at the Mallow GAA Sports Complex.

Terms and Conditions:

• All Participants must wear a hard shell crash helmet. Anyone without a helmet will not be able to participate. NO HELMET NO SPIN.
• All participants are responsible for their own safety.
• All entrants participate at their own risk.
• All participants must obey the rules of the road at all times. Be aware of other road users. This event will be run on open roads.
• Participants must obey the instructions of the Gardai, the civil defence and event marshals at all times.
• All bicycles should be in a well-maintained and road-worthy condition. Participants are advised to carry a pump and spare tubes.
• Participants must stay behind lead car.
