The Midleton & District Sports and Leisure Open Day provides the people of Midleton and its surrounding area the opportunity to meet up with local clubs and to partake in a new sport, leisure or physical activity. For the clubs of the area this event represents a great opportunity to promote the club and its activities to the local community and offers the possibility of attracting new members.
Coordinated by the Cork Sports Partnership, East Cork Area Development, and the local clubs and organisations of the area, the open day hopes to create an awareness of the different opportunities available to people, and will highlight the importance of being active and getting involved.
Some of the many sports that will be represented on the day are: GAA, Soccer, Martial Arts, Cricket, Local Fitness Centre Representatives, Gymnastics, and many more.
The event is open to everyone to attend and participate, entrance is free, however small children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
