Splash & Dash Aquathlon Event - May 2018

Cork Sports Partnership and Triathlon Ireland organise a number of Primary Schools Aquathlon (Splash & Dash) events in Cork annually. The events introduce 5th and 6th class children from Cork primary schools to a new multi sport event consisting of a 50m swim and a 400m run in a supportive environment. The 2017 events took place in April 2017 with over 300 children taking part in 3 events across the series. Click here >>> to see the highlights of the April 2017 events.

What is an Aquathlon (Splash & Dash)?

Each participant will complete a 50m swim and a 400m run. Rules for the event are straightforward and easy to follow and revolve around race etiquette and the health and safety aspects of a swim followed by a run.
