Description: A fun play focussed event aimed particularly and children and family but open to all to discover their fun side. A social picnic will be accompanied by fun bike games such as a slow race obstacle course

Wheel of Time | Cycling Cities: The Cork Experience

Description: Through his many years of research folk historian Kevin Long has found images of the rich history of cycling in Cork City. In this historic setting of the courtyard of Elizabeth Fort some of these images have been enlarged for viewing. Kevin will discuss his research in an engaging talk

eBike Excitement around Cork Harbour

Description: Following a short introduction on how an electric bike operates the group will head off along the world’s second largest natural harbour from Cork City to the town of Passage. Pit stop at Passage before returning via Blackrock Castle Observatory and Blackrock village

Fix Your Bike Workshop
Date & Time: Sat, 13th May @ 2-5pm

Meeting Point: Cork Community Bikes, Assumption Rd, Blackpool

Who: Everyone

Description: This special Fix Your Bike session will allow people to learn how to fix their bikes with the help of mechanics from Cork Community Bikes. Guided rides to the workshop will leave Cork Opera House at 1.45pm and 3pm. Mechanics will run through full bike checks with you, and a limited amount of small parts will be offered for free for repairs. Refreshments provided
