Bike Doctor & Cycle to Ballincollig
Date & Time: Mon, 16th May @ 1.30pm (Bike Doctor 12.30pm)

Meeting Point: Grand Parade

Who: Those capable of competent road cycling and covering short/medium distances including older children under supervision or on their parent’s bikes

Description: A cycle out the Curraheen greenway to Ballincollig Castle and back via the Ballincollig Regional Park. There will be breaks for a picnic at Ballincollig Castle and the Regional Park

Bike Week Cork Old Railway Evening Cycle 
Date & Time: Mon, 16th May @ 7pm

Meeting Point: Grand Parade

Who: Those capable of competent road cycling and covering short/medium distances including older children under supervision or on their parent’s bikes

Description: A cycle out the old railway greenway and around Mahon Strand. There will be a break in Blackrock before beginning the journey back to the city along the Marina

Meeting Point: Cork College of Commerce

Who: Families & Adults

Description: Bring your bike along and mechanics from Cork Community Bikes will show you how to check a bike to make sure it’s safe and comfortable to cycle. This will help you be more aware as problems develop and save you money on repairs. We will also show some quick repairs based on any problems you find on your bike. Tools will be provided if needed. No problem if you don’t have a bike with you, you can learn from other bikes.

Cork Community Bikes – Bike Gears & Chains

Meeting Point: The Hub, University College Cork

Who: Families & Adults

Description: Do you have problems with your chain slipping, gears misbehaving, or you’d like to understand how to use and adjust them better? Bring your bike along and mechanics from Cork Community Bikes will show you how to adjust your gears and check your chain for wear. Tools will be provided. If you don’t have a bike with you can learn from other bikes.
