Description: A cycle out to Great Island out the old railway greenway. Cross on the ferry before cycling around Great Island There will be a break for a picnic in Marlog before beginning the journey back to the city. Longer faster cycle.

Down The Line With A 99 Family Cycle

Cork Cycling Campaign Cargo Bike Open Day

Meeting Point: The Marina Park

Who: Everyone

Description: This event will include multiple cargo bikes on display, a bike doctor offering advice, and some play elements (chalking and music) too. Allows people an opportunity to view & test cycle cargo bikes and chat to cargo bike owners

Meeting Point: Cycle Sense Workshop Skibbereen

Who: 12+ all participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

Description: Release the artist in you and join us on a meandering cycle tour of some of West Cork’s wonderful watery places. We will be stopping along the way to create a series of watercolour postcards. Beginning at the Cycle Sense workshop Skibbereen then cycling to three places of natural beauty where using the high quality materials provided to make watercolour paintings facilitated by artist Caoimhe Pendred. light refreshments will also be provided.

Bandon Family Bike Spin

Description: A guided cycle through the Solar System. From the sun at Patrick’s Bridge to Neptune at Blackrock Castle. We will stop at each Planet, learn a little about it, get a feeling of the vastness of space and have some fun on the way

Description: An unforgettable journey into the night as we cycle from Blackrock Castle out around Mahon strand and back along the Old railway line. Always a most popular and memorable cycle, the journey will be broken by unexpected sensory experiences, which may include music, poetry, performance, light and dark. This event will follow directly from the “Cycle through the planets” to Blackrock Castle. The Cycle will finish back in the city centre.
