Adult Learn To Cycle Programme

Registrations are now open for the new 6 Week Adult Learn To Cycle Programme that will begin in Gaelscoil Ui Riordain, Ballincollig this July! Delivered by an experienced Cycling Ireland Qualified Instructor, this programme aims to assist participants to learn to cycle independently in a safe & supportive environment.

Programme Details:
  • Start Date: Thurs, 23rd July
  • Duration: 6 Week Programme (Thurs 23rd, Thurs 30th July, Thurs 6th Aug, Thurs 13th Aug, Thurs 20th Aug & Mon, 24th Aug)
  • Time: Option 1: 6-6.45pm | Option 2:  7-7.45pm
  • Sessions: Each session will be 45 minutes in duration

  • Ages: 18 years of age & over 
  • Group size: 5 participants per group 
  • Equipment: Please bring a bike in safe, working order and a helmet. You should be able to sit on the saddle with your foot flat on the ground. Bikes and helmets can be provided if required. Please contact Ruth 087-1032317 or ruth@wildatlanticsports.com at least two days in advance to arrange

Health & Safety:
  • Programme Layout: Each participant will be assigned their own designated zone. Each zone will be colour coded and coned in line with HSE guidelines of 2 metres.
  • Registration: Each participant is required to complete a health check questionnaire which is included in the registration process. These questions are required for health screening so that each participant is safe to participate and for the purpose of contact tracing. 
  • Equipment: Bikes will be sanitized and disinfected prior to the programme commencing and between sessions. All participants will be asked to bring hand sanitizer and it will also be provided to use before and at the end of the session.
