COVID-19 Club Small Grant Scheme Terms & Conditions

What can the Grant Cover? 

The COVID-19 Club Small Grant Scheme can cover costs associated with the reopening of sports clubs. The club grant scheme is designed and intended to support return to sporting activities only. These can include;

  • COVID-19 Related Costs for Hygiene Consumables (E.g. Hand sanitizer, soap, face masks, gloves etc.)
  • COVID-19 Related Infrastructure Costs (E.g. Plexiglass screens, wall mounted dispensers, signage)
  • COVID-19 Related venue/equipment cleaning costs
  • Increased venue hire costs to comply with social distancing
  • COVID-19 Related Volunteer Training Costs
  • COVID-19 Related Staff Training Costs
  • Additional Registration/ Event Management Costs (E.g. admin or IT costs to manage self declarations)
COVID-19 Club Small Grant Scheme - Grant Terms & Conditions: 

The Applicant named above commits to: 

  • Acknowledge receipt of COVID-19 Club Small Grant Scheme from Cork Sports Partnership, Sport Ireland and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
  • Your club was approved funding on the basis of the application received. You must use the funding for the purpose outlined in the application and only on the items included above. 
  • Provide Cork Sports Partnership with proof of expenditure by uploading receipts, invoices and where applicable photographic evidence of items purchased by the funding.
  • Deadline for submission of proof of expenditure is 31st January 2021. Please note, COVID-19 related expenditure dating from 2nd May 2020* can be included in submission.
  • If selected, arrange a suitable date and time for a member of the Cork Sports Partnership team to visit the club to document items purchased by the funding.   
  • In the event that the funding allocation received is not fully expended by the 31st January 2020, the applicant will to commit to make appropriate repayments of unspent allocation to Cork Sports Partnership.

What you will need to complete the process:
  • Club Bank Account Details
  • Copies of receipts as proof of grant expenditure
  • Photographs/images of items purchased as part of the grant (where applicable) 
Reporting Deadlines:
  • Letter and Contract of Offer issued by Cork Sports Partnership on Tuesday 10th November 2020.
  • Deadline for receipt of returned contract is 5pm on Friday 20th November 2020.
  • Deadline for receipt of receipts and photo evidence is 31st January 2021
  • Club Checks - Any club visits will be completed by 31st March 2021. 

This funding was secured by Sport Ireland through the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media in repsonse to COVID-19.
