Project Lead  - Community Activity & Wellbeing Initiative

(10 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Cork Local Sports Partnership CLG wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified persons for the Project Lead - Community Activity & Wellbeing Initiative post. 

Reporting to the Coordinator, the Project Lead will coordinate and oversee the implementation of a community based physical activity initiative covering Cork. This initiative will empower citizens to manage their own health through increased physical activity and improved diet.

This post is for a fixed term 10 month contract accompanied by an attractive remuneration package based on relevant qualifications and experience.

Essential Requirements:

The Candidate must have:

  • Third Level Qualification (Minimum - Degree Level 7)
  • A minimum of 4 years project management experience in community/sports development, health promotion or related field. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of community based approaches to health promotion, and the Community & Voluntary sector
  • Commitment to on-going training & development
  • Ability to work unsociable hours
