Rebel Run A Mile Challenge 2019

 

The Rebel Run 1 Mile Challenge sponsored by Boston Scientific Cork, aims to provide a training programme for people with disabilities to increase physical activity levels and participate in a community based event 'Cork Rebel Run'. The programme is two fold and supports participants from Down Syndrome Cork, and Adult Disability services across Cork City and County. 

The Rebel Run 1 Mile Challenge with Down Syndrome Cork is as follows

  • 6 week training programme 
  • Venue: CIT Athletics Track
  • Commences Monday 9th Sept 5:15pm for children aged 7-15years
  • Commences Tuesday 10th Sept 6pm for people aged 16years + 
  • Cost:  €15 which includes Training Programme, Cork Rebel Run A Mile Event Entry. FREE Technical T-Shirt provided! 
  • The Rebel Run A Mile Challenge Event will coincide with Cork Rebel Run 5k and 10k on Sunday October 20th at 9:30am. Members and families from Down Syndrome Cork will take part, this event has proven to be a fantastic addition to the Rebel Run.

The Rebel Run 1 Mile Challenge with Adult Disability Services is as follows:

  • Commencing Friday 13th September at 11am
  • Cost:  €15 which includes Training Programme, Cork Rebel Run A Mile Event Entry. FREE Technical T-Shirt provided! 
  • Rebel Run 1 Mile Challenge Event will take place on week 6 at CIT Athletics Track on Friday October 18th at 12pm
  • Venues Include: 
    • Charleville
    • Dunmanway 
    • Carrigtwohill Community Centre 
    • COPE Montenotte 
    • CIT Athletics Track
