Walk Your Way Online Workshop

The Walk Your Way workshop is a four week online walking workshop developed by the Irish Heart Foundation.  The aim of the workshop is to enable people to get more active through walking and gain the maximum health benefits from their walks. This is done through focus on improving balance, strength, mobility, & fitness.The workshop is ideally suited to all adults with an interest in walking; both for beginners and those already walking.

The online workshop will be delivered via PowerPoint Audio Presentations over a 4-week period (4 x 25 min sessions). Each session can be viewed in your own time and you set your own walking targets and includes:

  • Practical elements to undertake 
  • Goalsetting exercises
  • Walking task set after each session

How to register

Simply email Marta.Kolasa@hse.ie with the following details:

  • Your name
  • Confirm the e-mail address to which you wish to receive correspondence
  • Home/Work address (this is required so we can send you resources for the training, if you do not wish to provide this we can send the resources via e-mail)
  • Please also indicate if you are a beginner, occasional or regular walker
