Keep Cork Active Resource

Monday 20 April 2020

Welcome to Cork Sports Partnership's 'Keep Cork Active' Resource!

Over the past few weeks, the Cork Sports Partnership team has been working with a number of partner organisations to create and develop a resource to support people of all ages and abilities to keep active during this uncertain time. With this in mind, we are delighted to present to you our 'Keep Cork Active' booklet and online resource!

Both the website and booklet for the campaign are now live with over 200 resources for people to choose from. Examples of some activities included are a variety of home exercise workouts for all ages and abilities, sports skills and challenges for the young and not so young, as well as interactive games and activities for all the family. This is complemented by a Health & Wellbeing section for everyone which is largely guided by reliable public health recommendations and advice.

The details of all content can be accessed through the following links or directly through the relevant section highlighted below:

We have also initiated a number of other steps to provide offline support to those with no access to the internet including a WellComm Active phone line and hard copies of certain exercise programmes which you will find more information - Click here>>>

As this is a difficult time for all of us, keeping active is going to play an important part in our daily routines. We hope that this resource can play some small part in helping all members of our communities to keep active at home.

The team would very much appreciate if you can help create more awareness of the resource and booklet to ensure we can all keep active together while staying apart.

If you require any further information or support with same, please let a member of the team know through any of the links on our website and we will be more than happy to help where we can.

Thanks for your support with helping to Keep Cork Active!

Stay Safe,

Cork Sports Partnership Team
