Yoga For All Online

Cork Sports Partnership and Himalayan Yoga Valley Cork are delighted to announce a new Yoga For All Online Series. This 4 week programme will offer beginner chair-based yoga practices to people of all abilities across Cork. It includes stretches, breathing techniques & a guided relaxation, no equipment is needed. This can be completed in the comfort of your home, in your disability service or community hub.  

This Online Yoga For All Series is an add on to the existing Yoga For All programme and will be delivered across 4 weeks. 

Cork Himalayan Yoga Valley have outlined each week below:  
  1. Class 1: Neck and Shoulders Chair Yoga - A class that focuses to release the tension around the shoulders and neck area, with a lot of easy to do exercises to loosen all stiffness. 
  2. Class 2: Spine and Back Chair Yoga - We'll be focusing on opening up the spine and strengthening our back to improve our posture and release any discomfort from sitting a lot.
  3. Class 3: Lower Back and Hips Chair Yoga - Poses and postures to stretch the lower back area, open and loosen the hips, this class will allow your body to improve flexibility around your hip joints and relax your lower body. 
  4. Class 4: Chair Yoga Twists - A great class to build flexibility and mobility around your torso and spine, while detoxifying your body by massaging your liver and kidneys, helping them to eliminate toxins. 

Youtube Videos Links will be released and emailed to you on the Wednesday of each week. Dates of release include: Wednesday 28th April, 5th, 12th, 19th and May. Note: There is 7 days availability on the clips.
