Rethinking Stress for Performance with Joe O' Connor 

Joe is most known for his role in Ireland’s fittest family and his role with All-Ireland Hurling Champions Limerick. He is the formers head of athletics performance for Limerick GAA.

What people may not know is Joe is also an Exercise Physiology & Performance Nutrition Lecturer at Institute of Technology Tralee. Joe is the founder of Nisus Fitness which is one of the leading strength and conditioning facilities in the country. He has made strength and conditioning programmes for elite Olympic athlete’s as well as some of the best teams in the country.

On January 15th Joe will bring his "Rethinking Stress for Performance" seminar to Cork Institute of Technology. This talk will benefit coaches and athletes of all levels. This presentation aims to help the audience rethink Stress and explore the Growth Equation from an Exercise & Science perspective. As someone who managed a significant back injury for 26 years, Joe will share his views on how to live a healthy stress-free lifestyle.
