Keeping Cork Active

Operation Transformation

Sport Ireland team up annually with RTÉ’s Operation Transformation and the network of Local Sports Partnerships to organise a number of nationwide walks to encourage people to live active and healthier lives as they kickstart the new year!

The campaign seeks to encourage people of all ages and abilities up and down the country to get active through walking. Events not only take place on the day of the nationwide walks but in the days and weeks following, encouraging people to keep active. Details of our next Operation Transformation campaign will be posted nearer to the time so keep an eye on our social media and and latest events section.
