Cork Meet & Train Initative
Cork Meet & Training is a social running initiative to support people in getting active and connecting with like minded people who enjoy running together. The initiative is being coordinated by Cork Sports Partnership with the support of Davis Events and the Cork City Marathon as well as a number of clubs across the city and county. These clubs will provide a safe and enjoyable space for people who would like to meet up with like minded people and go for a run on a weekly basis. Clubs currently offering this initative include:

Who’s it for?
Everyone! No matter what fitness level you are, how about being part of a supportive community to keep you active, meanwhile meeting like minded people to help achieve your goals? That’s the point of training – to get better and enjoy yourself, so regardless if you’re the next Usain Bolt or simply have never run before, this is for you!
What does it involve?
Begin your journey in one of many groups across Cork. Meet each time in a designated area alongside new and seasoned runners. Any questions you have – don’t fear! That’s why you’re here; secure advice from mentors in your group who will educate and motivate you and of course, offer your support to others because we all simply have something to give.
Another benefit to getting involved is the opportunity of making new friends or simply reconnecting with your own by getting yourself a team and possibly a running buddy to experience your training with.
