Our Work

Cork Sports Partnership is the organisation tasked with the development of sport and physical activity participation in Cork.

This work is driven by a dedicated team and guided by a Board of Directors from different stakeholder organisations in Cork as well as a number of policies and plans. These include the National Sports Policy 2018 – 2027, the National Physical Activity Plan, the Global Action Plan for Physical Activity, as well as the Cork Sports Partnership Active Cork 2018 – 2022 Strategic Plan.

The work of Cork Sports Partnership centres around 4 core values which are Partnership, Collaboration, Facilitation and Inclusion. Working with national and local agencies, trusted professionals and valued volunteers, the Cork Sports Partnership team engage communities across Cork to deliver inclusive, impactful and sustainable sport and physical activity opportunities tailored to local needs to Keep Cork Active.

The main target groups of Cork Sports Partnership include children, youth, men, women, older adults, disadvantaged areas, minority groups, unemployed, people with disabilities and the inactive.
