The European Week of Sport takes place in Ireland between the 23rd-30th of September 2020.
This week long celebration aims to provide opportunities for everyone to partake in a range of sports, promote physical activity and sports inclusion inspiring the general public to live a healthy lifestyle while highlighting the numerous options that exist in Ireland to #BeActive.
European Week of Sport (EWOS) will run in Ireland from the 23rd – 30th of September 2020. The overall aim of EWOS is to promote sport & physical activity inspiring the general public to live a healthy lifestyle and to highlight the numerous options that exist in Ireland to be physically active!
Following on from last years successful #BeActive Nights event, this celebration of physical activity and sport provides an excellent opportunity for everybody to find an activity or sport that they enjoy. EWOS has something for everyone regardless of age, fitness level or social background.
Along with flagship events such as National Fitness Day and Family SportsFest, this year the EWOS coincides with European Mobility Week, National Bike Week and National Walking Day adding to what already is an action packed week! Events will run both online via zoom and offline.
