Keeping Cork Active
While there are lots of walking groups across Cork City and County these online hubs provide a platform for people to share experiences and promote walking in the virtual sense.

Community walking groups are supported by the Health Promotion and Improvement Division of the HSE South and the Cork Sports Partnership. These groups are embedded in the local community and offer people the chance to get out and walk locally in their communities.

There is a huge array of hillwalking groups across Cork City & County that give people the opportunity to explore our wonderful hills, mountains and trails. These groups are affiliated and governed by Mountaineering Ireland and have regular schedules of events throughout the year.
