Down the Line for a 99 Family Fun Cycle
Down the Line for a 99! Fun and sociable cycle for families/ occasional cyclists. Start at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, cycle along ‘The Line’ to Passage West for a free ice cream and back!

Harbour Horizons: Guided eBike Tour from Cork to Cobh
The aim of Harbour Horizons is to introduce participants to the joy and accessibility of e-biking through a scenic, guided journey along the Cork Harbour Greenway. By combining gentle exercise with historical storytelling and stunning coastal views, this event encourages active travel and local exploration.

Otter Cycle
Nothing is more magical than seeing an otter or seal in the heart of the city and you can see them most days if you know what you’re looking for. And while we are getting our eye in, and waiting for the otters to appear, we can see & hear the story of miniature natural wildernesses hidden in the cracks & hollows of the quay walls of Cork. Learn how nature finds a way and thrives even in the heart of the city.

Youghal E-Bike Trail
With Youghal Blue and Green Community Network. The event will take place in Green Park, Youghal where e-bikes will be available to cycle around the park. Coupled with cycling safety information as well as activities for kids.

Family Fun Greenway Cycle From Youghal to Killeagh
Participants will be guided by ride leaders as they cycle from Youghal to Killeagh section of the MY (Midleton Youghal) Greenway. A brief stop will be made in Killeagh, where you can enjoy picnic items you bring along, or grab a refreshment from the coffee trailer. You are welcome to bring your own bike; if you don’t have one, please indicate on your registration along with your height to request a bike

Location: Youghal to Killeagh section of MY (Midleton Youghal) Greenway

Suitability: Families who are able to cycle 20km together are welcome to participate. Bikes are available for those who don’t have their own, with options for adults and children aged 7+. These bikes, as well as chariot trailers for younger children, must be booked at the time of registration.

Clonakilty River Cycle in collaboration with Clochan Uisce & Birdwatch Ireland
10km River cycle in collaboration with Clochán Uisce (local rivers group) exploring the biodiversity in our local rivers and check its health including kick sampling and water testing as part of the EU drinkable rivers programme

 Ready, Set, Cycle! – Learn to Ride Sessions
Thinking about learning to cycle—or getting back in the saddle after a long break? Ready, Set, Cycle! offers 45-minute one-to-one training sessions with a qualified cycle trainer, tailored to your level and needs. Open to children aged 7+ and adults, these sessions focus on building confidence, balance, and essential cycling skills, with the goal of getting you ready to ride safely on your local Greenway. Sessions will run between 10am and 4pm, and the trainer will be in contact closer to the event date to arrange a time. You can bring your own bike, or we can provide one—just let us know your height when registering. Helmets will also be available if needed. Please note: participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Whether you’re starting from scratch or just need a refresher, this is your chance to gain confidence and discover the joy of cycling in a fun, relaxed environment.

Mechanics from Cork Community Bikes will thoroughly check your bike and carry out any small repairs as needed. We’ll explain what we’re doing and give advice on looking after your bike, and you’ll have a bike prescription to take away. Bad weather could affect this outdoor event.
