Where: Youghal Bike Hire, O’Brien’s Place, Youghal

Who: Adults and children aged 9+

Description: Free bike hire for children & adults who may have forgotten the freedom of cycling and encourage them to get back in the saddle to prepare for the upcoming Greenway between Youghal and Midleton. Combination of Adult, Junior & Electric bikes to hire. Limited offer

Cork County Libraries Build Your Own Bike Art & Craft Competition
Date & Time: Sat, 14th May – Sun, 22nd May (Refer to each library’s opening times at www.corkcoco.ie/libraries)

Where: 25 branch libraries and 4 mobile libraries throughout Cork County

Who: Children of all ages and individuals with special needs of any age

Description: Build your own Bike art and craft competition. Craft packs are available through your local library branch (allocated on a first-come/first-served basis)

Description: A free public exhibition of cycling-related art to remain open for the duration of Bike Week with an opening reception. The opening will also feature a performance by Nick Kelly (late of the “Fat Lady Sings”) as part of a bike-themed concert tour and documentary covering him cycling from West Cork to Glastonbury with all of his musical gear and playing a concert each night in a different town/city with gear brought by bike
