Fit For All Week 2021

Fit For All week week takes place from the 11th – 17th of October 2021. This national week is aimed at increasing awareness among people with disabilities, their families/carers and disability services on the benefits of regular exercise, healthy lifestyles and opportunities to participate in physical activity within the local community. Fit For All also aims to increase awareness and build the capacity of leisure & fitness professionals in providing accessible programmes and facilities for people with disabilities in their local community. Cork Sports Partnership invite your centre or organisation to take part in Fit 4 All Week 2021.

 As part of the 2021 Fit For All week, CARA are offering substantial equipment packs to Leisure Centres and Gyms who link with their local Adult Disability Service as part of the week with a view to ensuring that physical activity can be enabled and supported following Fit For All week.  

  • Leisure Centres who fulfil the criteria will receive a Gym Pack Deluxe Grip supports from Active Hands worth €300.
  • Adult Disability Services who fulfil the criteria will receive an Exercise & Physical Activity Equipment pack worth €600.
  • Online Inclusive Fitness Training will be offered free of charge to one representative from each Leisure Centre/Gym who take part in Fit For All 2021.

In 2020 an astounding 91 Leisure Centres and Gyms participated in the National Fit For All Week across Ireland with Fitness classes, Swimming, Yoga, Dance, Aerobics, Walking, and Pilates among the activities delivered during last years event.  Join us this year and be part of Fit 4 For All Week 2021!
