Staying Fit For the Future coming to Gurranabraher!

The hugely popular exercise programme, Staying Fit For the Future with Better Balance Better Bones is coming to Gurranabraher!

The programme will take place on a Thursday morning at 11am starting Wednesday 9th February 2022 in the Parochial Hall, Gurranabraher.

Staying Fit for the Future with Better Balance Better Bones is a weekly exercise class delivered in a community setting that will challenge and train components needed for maintaining good independent movement (strength, flexibility, range of movement, static and dynamic balance) so that environmental factors such as steps, paths, darkness, hills, etc will not become an obstacle to continued confident participation in society.

This programme is suitable for adults who walk unaided and want to stay strong on their feet and falls free for life. It is not suitable for people who have fallen in the past 12 months or who use a walking stick or frame.
