Last year was a fantastic success, and this year we hope to build on that; by adding new activities and sports such as volleyball and indoor rowing, for people to come and try out. We think it’s important to highlight what initiatives are available locally and we are grateful to Fergal Conlon and Mark Gaffney in the West Cork Development Partnership, for their support with this event. Their links with the local networks has been invaluable. Our stakeholders have also generously contributed their time and efforts in the planning of this event, thank you to the Maria Immaculate Community College, Cork County Council, and all the local organisations and clubs that have supported us in any way’.

Cliona added ‘We invite people of all abilities, especially groups from disability day services and schools to come along to the sports inclusion showcase 2024 and try out activities and sport in a fun and safe environment. ‘Supporting people of all abilities in the local community” ‘is the theme of the event.
