Bike Week Cycle To Mullinavasigh Waterfall
A cycle out to Mullinavasigh Waterfall out through Ballincollig Regional Park old railway greenway. There will be a break for a picnic at the Waterfall before beginning the journey back to the city. Longer faster cycle.

Time:  11am-6pm

Location: Meeting point Michael Collins Bike Statue outside the Library on Grand Parade

Suitability: Will be suitable for all those capable of competent road cycling and covering medium distances including older children under supervision or on their parent’s bikes. Will be longer, faster, and involve busier roads and so be particularly suited to more confident cyclists

Bike Week Islands Of Cork History Cycle
A gentle guided cycle visiting the many islands that came to form Cork city hear the story of their history and unique identity

Time:  7pm-10pm

Suitability: All, will be shorter, slower or involve a lot of off-road route and so be particularly suited to less confident cyclists

Urban Living Bike Crawl
Republic of Bike Urban Living Bike Crawl. An event to showcase several urban sustainability projects by bike . City centre route. c. 2 hour event including 3/4 stops at various urban locations demonstrating sustainability in their approach.

Time:  2pm

Suitability: Family friendly. Children under 6 not on their own bikes.

Inniscarra Bike Week 
To promote the benefits of cycling among the community of Inniscarra, Sunday 12th May Family cycling event commencing in Ballyanly 10am and a guided tour of the parish of Inniscarra. Wednesday 15th Children’s event within the confines of Inniscarra Community Centre. There will be bike tutors on site to ensure safety and advise children on methods of safe  cycling. This year the 4 school in the Parish are invited to get involved and further promote safe cycling and the health benefits. Each of the school are assigned a project which will be presented in the Hall of the Community Centre. McCarthys Cycles, Blackpool will hold a bike workshop on  the Wednesday. will attend

Mechanics from Cork Community Bikes will thoroughly check your bike and carry out any small repairs as needed. We’ll explain what we’re doing and give advice on looking after your bike, and you’ll have a bike prescription to take away. Bad weather could affect this outdoor event.
