Family Cycling Video Series

This new four part cycle video series from Wild Atlantic Sports & Cork Sports Partnership will help to get you and your family out cycling on the roads safely this summer!

Unpack the bikes from the shed and watch the first video to decide if your family is ready to cycle on the road. Next, you’ll be guided through your first cycle with information on planning your trip, cycle safety and dealing with junctions. There are also suggestions of routes for family friendly cycles in Cork city and county and a fun ‘rules of the road’ video to keep children safe on their bikes!

  • Planning a day out cycling but stuck on somewhere to go? This helpful video guide has suggestions for routes in Cork city and county. There are options for younger children on balance bikes/stabilisers as well as more challenging routes for older children and teens!

Video 4: Cycling Rules of the Road for Children

  • This one’s for the kids! Five rules of the road for children cycling on the road. Fun and clear!
