Street Smart Schools Events With Cork County Council

Brought to you by Cork County Council Road Safety Promotion Section, StreetSmart is a initiative from the Road Safety Authority which aims to bring issues of road safety to life for young school children.

The activities will be undertaken by two RSA staff members but we will also need the help of the teachers and would encourage and appreciate their participation at all times throughout the programme. Supervision must be in keeping with the school’s Child Protection Policy. It is a requirement that a teacher/member of staff/parent/guardian is present at all times for ALL activities. The activities have been designed for three distinct age groups: 4-5, 5-8, and 8-12. 

Event Details:

Venue 1:

• Dates: Monday 19th & Tuesday 20th February 2024
• Location: Fermoy Leisure Centre, Town Park, Fermoy, Cork
• Times: 50 minute in person sessions throughout the day

Venue 2:

• Dates: Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd & Friday 23rd February 2024
• Location: Scout Hall, Park Road, Rathgoggan Middle, Charleville, Cork
• Times: 50 minute in person sessions throughout the day
